The Monticello Area Arts Council is once again planning a Mini Christmas Tree Festival.  Please consider participating in this creative Christmas event by decorating a Christmas tree or wreath.  There is no entry fee but each participant is responsible for their own tree or wreath and all decorations.

Trees and/or wreaths may be decorated by an individual, group, organization or business. Decorated trees may not exceed 4 feet tall and may be lighted if you wish. Wreaths should not be larger than 24" and may be lighted as well. Trees and wreaths may be decorated traditionally or themed - the more creative the better! The use of unusual material such as wood, paper mache, metal, food, fabric, etc. is highly encouraged. Participants may create or build their own tree or wreath or decorate a traditional version.

Decorated trees and wreaths will be dropped off at the Monticello Area Arts Council the week of November 11. Specific drop off days and times will be available after sign up.

The public will vote on their favorite design and a prize will be awarded for the tree or wreath receiving the most votes. Trees and wreaths may also be donated to MAAC for participation in a silent auction. All proceeds will go to the Monticello Area Arts Council's Scholarship Fund.
